SIZE CHARTS

How to measure your ring size correctly?

Measure you finger always on the widest point of the finger where you would like to wear the ring. For some people this can be the knuckle or body of the finger (see examples below). By using a ring sizer, which you can order here, you can easily know you correct finger ring size by comparing the number or the size indicated with the chart above.

Your ring needs to fit over your knuckle, which is often the widest part of your finger. Therefore, to ensure a comfortable fit, measure both the base of your finger and around your knuckle. If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, consider using the average of these two measurements.

Ensure that the sizer is able to be pulled over the knuckle (or the widest point of your finger), and isn’t too tight around your finger. There should be a tiny air space between the sizer and your finger, ensuring it isn’t too tight. When a ring fits perfectly it should slide nicely over your knuckle when placing your piece on your finger, and often have the slightest (2 or so seconds) of resistance when sliding the piece off.

Note: your finger size will slightly change throughout the day, depending on activity, or the temperature. Our advice is that you size your finger toward the end of the day while you are relaxed (not too hot, or too cold etc).

The width of the ring also matters. For example, one often needs a larger ring size with a wider ring, because a wider ring is more difficult to slide over the knuckle. With a thinner ring, it slides more easily over the knuckle, so that there can sometimes be a half size difference between a wide and thin ring. Therefore, measure a ring that is comparable in width to the ring you want to buy.

Bracelets

Dario Scapitta Design's bracelets are available in sizes S, M and L. Each size refers to a corresponding circumference of your wrist. Use a tape-line to measure your wrist. An example is shown on the picture below. Measure the wrist tightly, behind the knuckle on your wrist. If you don't have a measuring tape at home, a piece of string is also sufficient, which you then lay along a ruler.
